Platform

Win Elections

Priority #1 is electing hardworking Democrats up and down the ballot, who will fight for our community. In order to do that, we need to expand our tent, reach out to communities that have been left behind, and build a grassroots organization that shows up and lives our progressive values, especially during non-election years.

Go Everywhere, Listen to Everyone

In order to win, we need to be present in the community, listening to all our constituents--whether they've voted for us in the past or not. We need to show up at public community events across the county and canvass off-cycle to speak to residents about their priorities.

Recruit a New Generation of Leaders

It's time to pass the torch to a new generation of leaders. We can only do that if we have a strong bench of rising talent, ready to assume the mantle. We must recruit young, diverse, and progressive precinct officials and volunteers across the county, who will reach out and help us connect with their unique communities.

Fight for an Agenda that Improves Lives

The Party that makes lives better wins elections and builds durable governing coalitions. The Maryland Democratic Party is working to create a platform designed to address today's problems. Let's help them out and ensure is reflects Montgomery County's values.
